The annual St. Andrew’s Leadership Touchstone (SALT) gathering is traditionally an opportunity for ministry leaders to come together to set goals, talk about servant leadership and explore ways to effectively shepherd others in ministry.
This year, Fr. Ron Baird and the staff of St. Andrew’s will use SALT as an opportunity to thank all volunteers for their hard work and dedication to the Lord as together we fulfill the mission God has given us to “transform the world through Christ, one heart at a time.”
If you serve in any ministry at St. Andrew’s, please join us on Sunday, Jan. 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. here at the church for our first all-volunteer appreciation banquet. This event will feature a sit-down meal with a buffet from City Barbeque, good fellowship, and words of appreciation and encouragement from Fr. Ron.
We look forward to celebrating with you what God is doing through our volunteers. Whether you serve on Sunday mornings, at events such as the Harvest Festival, at Common Ground, or elsewhere in the church, we hope you’ll attend. To help us plan for food and set-up, please sign up at the Information Desk, online at standrewspolaris.org, or RSVP to Tally Whitehead at 740-548-5112, ext. 5, or twhitehead@standrewspolaris.org by Wednesday, Jan. 23. Please also contact Tally if you have any questions.
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.
